VELUX wins several architects’ awards

The awards recognise the capability of VELUX skylight systems to improve indoor environments by bringing more daylight, beauty and functionality into buildings.

The ‘Step’ solution, the latest product in the range of VELUX Modular Skylight systems, won this year’s Archiproducts Design Award. In addition, VELUX won this year’s Architects’ Darling Award, plus also a prize for the best company image film.

The recently launched ‘Step’ solution, won the Archiproducts Design Award 2019 on November 8 due to its special design that provides maximum daylight and optimum indoor climate conditions in e.g. atriums in commercial buildings. Read more about the award and the solution here.

VELUX also won the Architects’ Darling Award 2019 on November 7 in the category ‘Rooflight / Daylight systems’. More than 2,000 architects voted, and VELUX Daylight Systems, won the Golden Phoenix trophy. The jury praised VELUX Daylight Systems for “bringing a beautiful and even light to interior spaces”.
