VELUX Group launches new products and upgrades to bring more choice, comfort and smarter solutions to homeowners

New launches this autumn include vacuum insulated glazing for conservation roof windows, a more affordable glass rooflight, a lining sub-construction that helps make installation easier for professionals, and a digital upgrade that helps homeowners get more value from their VELUX products through news in the VELUX ACTIVE app.

The VELUX Group is introducing a new wave of products and upgrades to selected markets this autumn, strengthening its offering for homeowners and professional customers. The launches reflect the company’s focus on developing solutions around customer needs, from improved energy performance and broader choice in flat roof solutions to easier installation and a more connected digital customer experience.

The launches include bringing vacuum insulated glazing (VIG) technology to the conservation roof window segment in Great Britain and Ireland; and, across all markets, the Standard glass rooflight, expanding the VELUX flat roof portfolio with a more affordable glass solution; a lining sub-construction designed to make installation easier for professionals; and an upgrade to the VELUX ACTIVE app, strengthening the digital connection with homeowners through news and advice in the app.

“These launches are clear proof that we have turned customer insight into relevant solutions. Whether we are introducing new glass technology, expanding our flat roof portfolio, simplifying installation or strengthening our digital connection with homeowners, the ambition is the same: to bring practical innovation closer to the people who use and install our products.”

Vacuum insulated glazing reaches Great Britain and Ireland

With vacuum insulated glazing (VIG) integrated into the VELUX Heritage conservation roof window, homeowners in Great Britain and Ireland will gain access to this new technology. The solution offers improved energy performance while helping preserve the look and character of traditional buildings. By developing VIG for the specific demands of roof windows, the technology delivers performance comparable to triple glazing in an ultra-thin construction, supporting more future-ready and energy-efficient homes.

A more affordable glass rooflight strengthens the flat roof portfolio

The new Standard glass rooflight strengthens the VELUX flat roof portfolio by responding to growing demand for modern glass rooflight solutions at a more affordable price point, giving more homeowners access to daylight and fresh air through the roof.

“

“With the Standard glass rooflight, we are making high-quality glass rooflight solutions accessible to more homeowners. It is designed for projects where daylight, ventilation and indoor comfort matter, and where affordability is also important. By combining a modern glass design with proven VELUX technology, trusted quality and straightforward installation, we are strengthening our flat roof portfolio with a solution that meets current customer needs.”

Easier installation and a more connected customer experience

Alongside the new product launches, VELUX is introducing a lining sub-construction designed to support installers by making installation faster and more reliable, while helping deliver a consistent, high-quality result, with better insulation performance and more daylight for homeowners.

The VELUX ACTIVE upgrade will strengthen the digital connection with homeowners through a new feature that shares news, advice and tips to help them get more value from their VELUX products.
