VELUX Modular Rooflights win Red Dot product design award
The flat-roof windows used in non-residential buildings won the globally prestigious award for outstanding product design quality.
We are very honoured to receive this acknowledgement for our product design. With this Red Dot award, we can raise the awareness of our products and associate our brand with great design and quality.
All of the entries in the product design category were assessed according to their design quality and degree of innovation by a Red Dot jury, consisting of 50 international experts. The award was announced and celebrated at a Red Dot award ceremony in Essen, Germany today.
The jury only awards products that feature an outstanding design, and the jury was impressed by the clear aesthetics of the VELUX Modular Rooflight series as well as the customised production of any desired size.
About VELUX Modular Rooflights
VELUX Modular Rooflights are manufactured by VELUX Commercial, a division of the VELUX Group which was established in 2019, and comprises the former JET, Vitral and VELUX Modular Skylights organisations.
The rooflights are custom-made flat roof windows with a glass-top construction, consisting of either fixed modules, venting modules or a combination of both in three variants. They provide direct access to daylight indoors and are primarily installed in industrial, public and commercial buildings, such as offices, schools, shopping centres, libraries, hotels, conference centres, railway stations, airports and healthcare.
VELUX Modular Rooflights are currently available in nine European countries and a new generation of them with an optional pre-mounted inner roller blind for daylight, heat and glare control is now being launched.
