VELUX Group cheers on every rider in Tour de France 2025

From Carcassonne to Col de la Madeleine, from Mont Ventoux to Champs-Élysées, the VELUX Group is supporting every single rider in the world’s largest cycling event. As official partner of Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, the global roof-window maker is literally behind all riders with the VELUX logo displayed on the backs of the bibs they wear every day throughout the races.

9216907_20250705TDF1097The VELUX sponsorship agreement with Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) covers the 21-stages of the Tour de France event from July 5-27 and the 9 stages of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift event from July 26 to August 3. That means that from start to finish the VELUX logo will be seen by more than 1 billion people watching the races, either on the ground or remotely. As such, VELUX will be ‘Behind Every Rider’, throughout both the Tour de France and the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.

Furthermore, VELUX will proudly be associated with the notorious Lantern Rouge – backing the last rider of the race classification. The Lantern Rouge symbolises determination, courage and resilience, which are values that VELUX strongly supports. The VELUX logo will be displayed on the ‘broom wagon’, a supportive vehicle behind the last rider.

Good brand fit

Sponsoring this event fits very well with the VELUX brand. Cycling is recognised as a means for achieving well-being, which is also a key focus of what VELUX products offer. Furthermore, Tour de France riders are exposed to great amounts of natural light and fresh air, which are what VELUX is committed to bringing into people’s lives.

We couldn’t be more excited to join this year’s races and we look very much forward to cheering every rider on while enjoying fresh air and daylight moments together. We are excited about what this sponsorship will mean for our efforts to build our brand and our business and to connect with our business partners and customers.

Aliette van der Wal-van Dijk, EVP Global Marketing, VELUX Group.
Connecting with partners and customers

Special events will be held for more than 1,500 VELUX professional partners at key race stage locations - right from the men’s Tour de France start in Lille to their finish on Champs Elysees in Paris and from the women’s Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift start in Vannes to their finish in Châtel.

VELUX has four branded vehicles travelling on the race route in the ‘Tour de France publicity caravan’. These vehicles drive ahead of the riders each day to create excitement amongst roadside spectators and to hand out giveaways. The VELUX vehicles display VELUX products and are designed to demonstrate heat protection benefits.

Tour de France enables us to connect with our professional business partners and customers in a relaxed manner, while together enjoying an exciting sporting event outdoors. The Tour also provides an opportunity to raise awareness about VELUX product benefits with people interested in improving their living environments.
