VELUX Group awarded gold rating by EcoVadis for the second consecutive year
For the second year in a row, VELUX Group has earned a gold medal from EcoVadis, the world’s largest provider of business sustainability rankings. EcoVadis evaluates companies’ environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.
In 2024, VELUX Group has been awarded 78 points, a significant increase of 7 percentage points since 2023. This score positions VELUX Group among the top 3% of all companies worldwide. The rating scale ranges from 0 to 100.
We are incredibly proud to receive the EcoVadis gold rating. VELUX is committed to leading the way on sustainable business practices within our sector, and this year’s gold rating is clear evidence of our progress. This recognition is even more significant as ESG performance becomes increasingly important to our customers and partners, Fleming Voetmann, Head of External Relations and Sustainability at VELUX Group.
VELUX Group aims for platinum
With two consecutive gold ratings in 2023 and 2024, VELUX Group is aiming for the platinum rating, which would place it in the top 1% of companies globally.
As we continue to make ESG progress, we want to challenge ourselves by setting ambitious targets. Our ultimate goal is a platinum rating, and we are confident that we will get there – though it will take time and also depend on how our peers perform. What is most important, however, is to positively impact the industry, Fleming Voetmann.
The annual rating process is comprehensive and requires extensive documentation.
