On the eve of the 2012 edition of the VELUX EHF FINAL4, title sponsor, the VELUX Group, has launched a new dedicated handball website

Starting today, fans of the VELUX EHF Champions League will have an even bigger opportu-nity to engage themselves in the activities surrounding the competition.

The new VELUX handball website - handballenergy.com – offers exclusive handball videos, interviews and downloads as well as the chance to win an action holiday in Playitas on Fuer-teventura, one of the biggest sports and training centres in Europe.

Engaging fans from everywhere
Michael Rasmussen, Director of Branding and Marketing for the VELUX Group, said: "The new website is our way of bringing the passion and energy of the VELUX EHF Champions League even closer to both the spectators in the arena and viewers at home. Through handballenergy.com, handball fans from all around the world will get the chance to partici-pate in exciting fan activities and competitions and also watch exclusive videos.

Meanwhile the new online offering from the VELUX Group is just one of the activities sur-rounding the company's title sponsorship of the VELUX EHF Champions League. At the VELUX EHF FINAL4 weekend the 20,000 fans making the trip to Cologne will get a chance to experience an exciting shoot out with handball stars Lars Christiansen and Stefan Lövgren, have their face painted in the colors of their favorite team, get their picture taken and supe-rimposed on VELUX EHF FINAL4 team pictures and much more.

750 VELUX guests in Cologne
Apart from the numerous fan activities the VELUX Group has invited 750 guests from across Europe, 400 invited by its German sales company alone, who will all be following the handball action courtside in the LANXESS arena.

The VELUX Group signed a new three-year contract with EHF Marketing GmbH in February 2012 and will continue as title sponsor of the VELUX EHF Champions League until at least the 2015/16 season.

Last season the VELUX Group and its European sales companies invited more than 3,500 guests to the matches of the VELUX EHF Champions League.
