The EU Commission Acquits VELUX

Summary

The EU Commission has closed its investigation of the VELUX Group and found no competition law infringements.

During the investigation, which included dawn raids at several VELUX Group locations and dealers' in the period 30 September to 2 October 2008, VELUX cooperated with the Commission in accordance with our longstanding policy of always cooperating with the competion law authorities.

The VELUX Group has for more than a decade made extensive efforts to comply with competition law. VELUX has implemented and follows a comprehensive compliance programme, developed in cooperation with acclaimed and experienced competition law experts.

"The VELUX Group supports free competition and appreciates the work performed by the competition authorities. We aim to respond openly to any approach by competition authorities. It is our firm conviction that the VELUX Group complies with applicable competition law, and we are of course very pleased with the outcome of the investigation," says VELUX Group CEO Jørgen Tang-Jensen.
