Raffaella Berardo joins the VELUX Group as Executive Vice President for VELUX Southwest
Raffaella Berardo joins the VELUX Group as EVP for VELUX Southwest 1 June 2025 and will be part of the Executive Group Management. She comes from a position as Managing Director for Belgium & Luxembourg at Miele and brings with her nearly 30 years of experience from multinational companies and various roles in Marketing, Sales, and General Management across B2B and B2C environments. Raffaella replaces André Dot, who has chosen to step out of the role after five successful years in the position.
As the Managing Director in Miele, Belgium and Luxembourg, Raffaella has successfully transformed the company into a highly profitable, award-winning market leader through the creation and execution of a strategic vision, operational efficiency and by fostering an innovative, collaborative culture.
I’m very inspired by the VELUX mission to ‘bring daylight and fresh air’ into the lives of people, through innovative products that allow customers to immediately visualise the impact. I see potential for further strengthening the company’s unique value proposition by supporting sustainability efforts while driving growth, building additional category penetration via innovative applications and customer-centric based partnerships, and unleashing market possibilities within the diverse countries where VELUX operates. I look forward to connecting with colleagues, establishing a network, building knowhow of the industry and not least meeting our customers.
Coming from Miele - a family-owned company - with a strong track record in transforming organisational culture and driving commercial success, I believe Raffaella is a very good match with the VELUX culture. She has a broad commercial profile and understands what it takes to run a profitable area. Raffaella's main task in VELUX will be to continue to grow and strengthen Region Southwest, which is an important region to VELUX and to contribute with fresh perspectives, ideas and leadership.
Raffaella takes over the position after André Dot.
It is with much gratitude and appreciation that that we say goodbye to André Dot, who has decided to step out of the role after five successful years in the position where he has significantly contributed to the business in VELUX. André joined VELUX as General Manager for VELUX France in 2020, and shortly after, he took over responsibility for the whole region Southwest. Through his leadership, he successfully integrated the countries into one region, aligning on objectives, our strategy and values. In 2023, André stepped into the Executive Group Management and together with the other regional EVPs, represented our customers directly in our executive discussions and decisions. It has been a pleasure working with André and I know he will be missed by many.
