Slovak Prime Minister opens VELUX factory
The Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, opened on the 9th September two new production halls at the VELUX Group’s factory in Partizánske in Slovakia.
The capacity of the factory, Partizánske Building Components-SK s.r.o., has been extended with two new halls as the production volume will be further increased. The Prime Minister cut the red ribbon accompanied by the CEO of the VELUX Group Jørgen Tang-Jensen and the General Manager of Partizánske Building Components Juraj Michalík.
Central and Eastern Europe is among our growth markets and we therefore plan to scale up production volume here in Partizánske to increase the market proximity of our production and to benefit from the great workforce in the region,
The construction of the two new halls started in January 2015. In less than 6 months, both halls with the total size of 13,500 m2 were completed.
We were pleased by the Prime Minister’s participation in this festive event. Now, we look very much forward to use the new halls and meet the demands in the market,
