Poor air quality in classrooms has grave consequence on society


About 180 million Euros in increased GNP and savings of 36 million Euros in public funds. That is the sum Denmark could save by replacing the lingering smell of sandwich boxes and stale air in state schools with fresh air. The calculation appears in a report commissioned by the VELUX Group from the analysis institute SLOTSHOLM A/S. A simple but important start down the road is to open windows and completely air out classrooms.
