Niklas Dyg appointed Executive Vice President for Strategy & Sales Development in the VELUX Group

VELUX has appointed Niklas Dyg as Executive Vice President for Strategy & Sales Development. Niklas joins from an internal position as Senior Vice President for Group Strategy and M&A. With this appointment, Niklas steps into the Executive Group Management (EGM) team of the VELUX Group.

As the new Executive Vice President for Strategy & Sales Development and as a new EGM member, Niklas Dyg will have overall responsibility for advancing the VELUX corporate strategy while developing sales through commercial excellence, customer service excellence, and driving global eCommerce.

Strategy & Sales Development is a new EGM area designed to amplify the impact of the company’s commercial approach across all channels in line with corporate strategic priorities, while also supporting general sales execution with relevant processes, tools, and platforms.

Niklas Dyg joined the VELUX Group as Senior Vice President for Group Strategy and M&A in 2022. In 2025, he took on additional responsibility as Head of Denmark, Norway and Sweden. He has extensive experience within strategy, business transformation, and mergers & acquisitions. Prior to joining the VELUX Group, Niklas Dyg was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company. Before that, he held several senior management positions in the Danish telecommunications company TDC (now Nuuday).

He holds an MSc in Business Administration and Philosophy from Copenhagen Business School.
