New chairman of the VELUX A/S board

Summary

At the VELUX A/S annual general meeting on 6 March 2017, Kim Fausing was elected new chairman of the board. He replaced Søren Bjerre-Nielsen, member of the VELUX A/S board for a number of years, in recent years in the capacity of chairman.

Since the AGM in March, Kim Fausing has been appointed to take over the position as CEO of Danfoss from 1 July 2017. In that connection, Kim Fausing has decided to focus on his new task in Danfoss. He has therefore announced his decision not to continue as chairman of the VELUX A/S board.

The owners of VELUX A/S have consequently decided to reinstate Søren Bjerre-Nielsen as chairman of the board as of today.
