Jacob Madsen steps down as Executive Vice President for VELUX Region North Europe

Jacob Madsen, EVP for Region North Europe, has decided to leave the VELUX Group to take on an exciting role as Chief Commercial Officer at the Purmo Group, a leading European supplier in indoor climate solutions. 

Jacob's journey with VELUX began in 1994, where he quickly took on the responsibility of building up VELUX Sales in Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia-Herzegovina. After serving as Managing Director in Croatia for five years and contributing to the establishment of RoofLite (now Altaterra), Jacob left the VELUX Group from 2004 to 2018. Upon his return, Jacob took on responsibility for some of the Group’s most important markets, including General Manager for VELUX Germany, Regional SVP for Region DACH, and most recently, Regional EVP for Region North Europe and member of the Executive Group Management.

Throughout his career, Jacob has been instrumental in VELUX growth as a global market leader in roof windows.His deep-rooted values, extensive industry knowledge, and unwavering commitment to our customers have madehim a valued member of our leadership team. Until a successor is appointed, VELUX CEO Lars Petersson will oversee the region, working closely with the leadership team to maintain and strengthen VELUX partnerships in the region, ensuring that VELUX continues to deliver exceptional solutions that transform spaces with daylight and fresh air.
