Jacob Madsen appointed Executive Vice President of Region North in the VELUX Group
Jacob Madsen has been appointed Executive Vice President for Region North in the VELUX Group and will step into the Executive Group Management team.
Jacob Madsen started his career in the VELUX Group in 1994 and worked in different roles, among other as responsible for VELUX business in Slovenia and Croatia and as part of the team starting up RoofLITE - now called Altaterra. Between 2005 and 2018, Jacob worked in the Danish company Danfoss, where he held several senior leadership positions in Sales & Marketing and General Management in the Heating Segment. In 2018, Jacob re-joined the VELUX Group as General Manager for VELUX Germany and later stepped into the role as Senior Vice President for Region DACH.
Jacob have worked in the building industry throughout his entire career and have more than 25 years of experience with sales and marketing from top management positions in international and regional companies.
As the Executive Vice President of Region North, Jacob will have the responsibility for developing sales as well as commercial and operational excellence. This also includes improving the quality and efficiency in the customer experience services in the region. Region North covers DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) as well as The Nordics, Great Britain and Ireland.
I’m very pleased to be starting this next chapter in my VELUX career and I look forward to getting to know the entire team in the coming weeks and months. The building sector is facing some big changes in the coming years and our products can play an important role when it comes to securing healthy indoor climates in homes. My biggest priority is to continue our growth journey and make sure that as many customers as possible experience the positive impact that VELUX products and solutions can have on their lives.
Jacob has a MSc in International Business from the University of Southern Denmark.
