International VELUX Award 2010 for Students of Architecture: Winners to Be Announced in October

The jury of the International VELUX Award 2010 for Students of Architecture met in Copenhagen in June to evaluate the submitted projects and elect the winners. All winners have been informed personally, but all names will be kept strictly confidential until the Award event in La Rochelle, France on October 16, where the names and projects will be revealed and the winners celebrated. The jury consisting of internationally renowned architects evaluated all the projects online at the jury meeting in Copenhagen. The total number of projects evaluated was 673. First the jury made a shortlist of about 100 projects, and after discussions the shortlist was narrowed down to 50 projects. Further discussions resulted in the selection of the final winners and honourable mentions. Available video includes general views of the jury, soundbites and an edited package.
