Aliëtte van der Wal-van Dijk, Executive Vice President, Global Marketing, has decided to leave the VELUX Group to pursue an opportunity as Chief Commercial Officer in the BDR Thermea Group, a Dutch based developer of smart heating and cooling solutions.

Aliëtte joined the VELUX Group as Executive Vice President for Global Marketing in December 2023. Under Aliëtte’s leadership, the VELUX Group has increased brand strength and enhanced the digital customer experience, while improving organizational Marketing capabilities to drive business impact through a more strategic, ROI-driven approach.

It’s been a difficult decision to leave VELUX. I’m so proud of what Global Marketing has accomplished and how we have shaped and strengthened our contribution to the growth of our VELUX brand and business. Together we have managed to lift our marketing efforts through resilience, creativity and a strong collaborative effort across VELUX. I will miss the incredible VELUX people I’ve worked with along the way, and I’m deeply grateful for the journey we have had together.
