9th VELUX Daylight Symposium to take place in November 2021

The VELUX Group will be hosting its 9th VELUX Daylight Symposium as a digital event, which will take place on November 15-19 under the theme `Bridging research and practice´.

The Daylight Symposium is a biennial conference organised by the VELUX Group for researchers, architects, and others with a professional interest in the role and importance of daylight for creating healthy and resilient buildings. The Daylight Symposium encourages sharing of scientific knowledge and practical applications by interlinking disciplines that are usually addressed in separated spheres and professional circles.

Since the first event in 2005, the following topics have been explored; defining a common language, daylight and learning, daylight and legislation, healthy living, energy use and health, daylight in a human perspective, new eyes on existing buildings, daylight as a driver of change, and healthy and climate-friendly architecture.
