VELUX Group suspends all operations in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine

As of 28 February 2022, VELUX Group suspended its operations in Russia and Belarus. This suspension came four days after all VELUX activities in Ukraine were put on hold.

All VELUX operations in Russia and Belarus are suspended until further notice. This includes taking, delivering and servicing orders. IT systems are closed, all financial transactions between VELUX and these countries are suspended and all employees are sent home.

We have decided that the best course of action as a business is to suspend our operations in Russia and Belarus until further notice. We believe that we cannot and should not continue our operations there due to the current situation. We regret the immense impact this decision has on our loyal and dedicated employees in both markets,

said David Briggs, CEO of the VELUX Group.

All Ukrainian activities on hold
Due to the serious situation in Ukraine, all activities in VELUX Ukraine stopped on 24 February 2022 and all employees were asked to stay home.

It is truly a sad and very unfortunate situation, and we are concerned for our colleagues and business partners in Ukraine. We are in ongoing contact with colleagues there and will do everything we can to support them,

said David Briggs, CEO of the VELUX Group.
