Large Potential in Energy Renovation of old Buildings

Energy renovation of existing buildings represents a huge potential in relation to saving energy and carbon emission. In connection with COP15 the VELUX Group is presenting a flagship energy renovation project of an old industrial building turned into a nice and energy efficient culture centre in Copenhagen. As a result of the renovation energy consumption has been cut by 60 percent and CO2 emissions by 40 percent. On top of this, the users can now enjoy a much better indoor climate with lots of daylight and fresh air. Available video includes soundbites from VELUX Group Department Head, Karsten Duer, explaining the energy design of the building.
